If blood work required don't leave without specific instructions for the Dr's surgery you normally see as they won't proceed.

Response from Dr Michele Vacca

Thanks for the review. Good communication between GP surgery, hospital, and Patient is crucial for Patient's care. Sometimes misunderstandings can happen, but it is important to invest time and efforts to solve the issue in Patients' interest.

Very engaging and sensitive. Non - judgemental and willing to spend time discussing problems. One of the best doctors I have seen.

I have seen Dr. Vacca three times now in his cholesterol clinic and I have always been more than happy with the way he has conducted our discussions. he always explains everything in a clear and concise way, so that I can understand my blood results and what I have to do to achieve good cholesterol results. He is very pleasant and caring and I am more than happy to see him in the future.

Although Dr Vacca had a strong accent (so i didn't recognise my name immediately when he called me ) he was excellent. He answered all my questioned well and in the detail I asked for. One thing I liked was that he asked me to be honest in this reporting back - not just say good things. I appreciate that and the fact that he is open minded - probably because he is a researcher. The reason for the 4 stars in the second line is that I am always wary about using the word 'trust'

Response from Dr Michele Vacca

Thank you very much for your kind review. I am happy the service I provided was of good quality. The honest reporting helps to further improve and I find it really helpful: I will work on my accent (which is crucial to allow good communication with the patients and avoid misunderstandings) to provide a even better care in the future.
